About the Item

A lacquered door featuring a wavy line along the top that follows an elegant mixed-curve arch. The door comes complete with a frame, and the door leaf is divided into two large overlapping panels, whose inner profiles are shaped with sinuous lines.< br> The recessed central panels create a strong sense of three-dimensionality, and the surface features a refined polychrome lacquer finish in a sophisticated palette of pastel tones. The ivory background complements the green interior panels, while the contours of the moldings are highlighted by contrasting dark trim. The right-hand post features imposing wrought-iron hinges, partially integrated into the lacquer finish, which support the heavy door and allow it to swing open.
