About the Item

19th century French majolica jardiniere. This jardiniere is very interesting. It has a black and gray glazing on the jardiniere itself, with gorgeous applied flowers in a myriad of colors. The jardiniere is in a sculpted melon shape which adds to its unique beauty. There is a maker's mark on the base of the planter, but it is indecipherable. The florals are on both sides of the planter for added beauty from any angle. Simply gorgeous!
