About the Item

A pair of Neo Classical cherub sculptures in terra cotta sculptures from the 19th century, each modeled with finely detailed features and expressive poses. The figures are presented on plinth bases and decorated with Greek-style vases and garlands of laurel, reflecting classical decorative motifs of the period. Rich in charm and architectural presence, these pieces would have originally served as garden ornaments or terrace decorations. Minor repairs consistent with age. Wear consistent with age and outdoor use, including surface weathering and patina. Circa 1900s.
