A fine example of Meiji-jidai artistry, showcasing the classic dragon motif alongside foliate and bird decoration. Crafted from quality bronze, presenting deep golden tones Fascia adorned with engraved detail, cascading around the circumference Superb serpentine dragon motif, with three toes in the traditional Japanese style Further enriched with bird and foliate embellishments Gently aged patina, the result of decades of careful use Raised upon a circular footer, with a character mark to the reverse for authenticity This antique Japanese jardiniere dish offers superb decorative presence, ideal for display as a collector’s item or as a statement planter bowl within a period or contemporary setting.
