Vintage Large Folk Art Tonala Sandstone Pottery Oval Platter with Bird and Flowers Signed J.C. Mex. Tonala Folk Art pottery plate hand painted with bird and flowers, Mexico, circa 1960's Vintage large sandstone oval platter textured and hand-painted with an abstract bird and floral raised glazed decoration. Hand-crafted vintage Tonala Mexican Folk Art decorative floral stoneware rimmed pottery. The sandstone platter is skillfully hand painted, the design on the ivory speckled stoneware depicting a beautiful abstract bird and features a floral and leaf in pretty colors of green, cobalt blue, peach, black and a light brown border around the rim. Hand Painted studio pottery signed by artist J. Campe Mexico. Signed" JC Mex ". Nice addition to your hand made studio pottery. Very good condition. Circa 1960’s. Dimensions: 10.75" x 4" x 1" H.
