About the Item

A stunning pair of Swedish mid-century Stella Polaris ‘Clear Icy’ crystal glass bowls or salts from the iconic range designed by world renowned glass designer Vicke Lindstrand (Swedish, 1904-1983) for leading glass maker Orrefors during the 1950s. The heavily made crystal bowls are of thick rounded shape with petal design rims with the petals slightly folded into the bowl. The bowls have flat polished bases etched Orrefors. These lovely quality bowls catch the light and were a very popular and successful range for Orrefors. Provenance: Acquired from the UK Art Market Condition: Offered in excellent condition with wear associated with age and use.
