About the Item

Danish Mid-century ceramic vide-poche most likely designed by Marianne Starck and manufactured for the ceramic workshop Michael Andersen & Søn (MA&S) circa 1960s. The decoration on this piece is very rare. It´s made with the sgraffito technic and with its orange and white glaze it belongs to the so-called "Harlekin" series. The decoration is stylish, stylized and ambigious. Do you see fishes or vessels or something else? This piece can also be used as a wall decor. On the bottom marked with the MA&S hallmark and the model number 5608-1.
