About the Item

An English burl mahogany and inlay jewelry box from the 1800’s. The top of this square box has an inlaid cartouche of ebony, birdseye maple, and oak with brass banding. The box opens on brass hinges to a tufted pink silk lined interior. There are clear signs of use and wear with a non functioning lock. We believe this item to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
