About the Item

An elegant and most decorative Viennese 19th century Porcelain and Ormolu boxes, stamped KPM. The stunning rectangular lidded box is raised by four block supports joined together by a straight band. The fitted and hand painted Porcelain box displays a white background with Gilt and orange colored accents throughout. The top and sides showcase scrolled foliate designs with orange colored fruits at the end of the scrolls. The top rim and lid are fitted with a hinge and Ormolu trim with attractive triangular etched corners.
