About the Item

A Brass Art Deco Hanukkah Lamp by Ludwig Wolpert made in Israel in the 1960s. Classic Art Deco design using geometric shapes which were used in that period to make artistic creations and in this case with Judaica and Wolpert being the designer the creation is a modern-styled Hanukkah lamp. Hanukkah lamp sits on two squared bars one at each end supporting a center bar that holds the eight flame-shaped bobeches containing small cylinder candle holders. The servant lamp rests at one end on one of the smaller leg bars similarly designed as the other candleholders. Signed by the artist on the top of one of the smaller leg bars.
