About the Item

Pair of brass candlesticks in the style of the Bauhaus. Stamped "Made in Germany." This pair of industrial candlesticks follow the Bauhaus school of design's philosophy of "form follows function" with a modernist elegance and quality craftsmanship. The abstract shapes and silhouette are a relic of the school's experimental study and aesthetic, survived by iconic design such as the Wassily chair by Marcel Breuer and and Brno chair by Mies van der Rohe.
