About the Item

Villeroy & Boch Jugendstil candleholders made in their Mettlach factory. Circa 1890-1910. Fluted columns, geometric detail, cobalt and green over cream ceramic glaze. Fully signed on the bottoms, Mettlach, VB, Ges Gesch, 3338, 2. The pair is in good overall condition with minor cosmetic wear. No visible hairlines, chips, cracks, crazing or restorations. Each holder measures approximately 5" high x 5.38" x 4.63".
