About the Item

Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze and Sevres Bisque Porcelain Clock Set, after models by Francois Boucher (French 1703-1770), the clock with a courting couple standing either side of a barrel, centered by an enameled dial, signed "Gilles L'Aine A Paris", the oval base marked with interlaced L and "L", signed "F. Boucher", the two-branch figural candelabra depicting musicians. Clock: 11.5" H x 9" W x 5" D; candelabra: 9.5" H x 9" W.
