About the Item

A very attractive Willard style Battle of Lake Erie timepiece or Banjo clock that looks to be made around the early 1900’s. Very nice rope molded gilt wood case with the reverse painted glasses depicting the Battle of Lake Erie. Very good condition and runs well. Gold leaf is in excellent condition for the age. Glasses and bezel hinge are marked with the number 9.
