About the Item

Paul Beau, doyen of Montreal Arts & Craft metal workers flourished in the first half of the 20th century. He was responsible for much fine work, in both private and public mileaux. His mixed metal work is particularly prized. This set is in steel and brass and is typical of his martele domestic work.
