This nice desk set is constituted of a lamp, a basket, a paper holder, a diary and a pen holder. The all set is made of leather and brass. This is a French work, circa 1970.

A fabulous Gucci 5 piece Desk set in a Crocodile or Allifgator grain leather or real skin. It was gifted by Frank Sinatra to his close friend and neighbor Daniel Schwartz of Rancho Mirage, a neighboring town of Palm Springs. It is marked on the inside DS Noel FS. It was purchased from the estate of Daniel and Natalie Schwartz. The desk pad has a new green paper blotter. The ink blotter has a new matching green paper. The set is in remarkably good condition. We have a similar set listed for sale on this site. This set dates from the 1970’s. It was featured in an ad in Architectural Digest from the period. The desk pad is approximately 19.25x15.25 inches. The leather is in good condition. There are numerous rough edge spots and minor marks throughout. The letter opener has some gold plate loss. This incredible piece is from the trinity collection, specially crafted for the exclusive Cartier department "S" of "Select de Cartier". Made-up with very fine Mughal silk and eight trinity-motifs accents made in three tones of 18 karats gold. Country: Paris, France. Period: 1970. Style: Mughal, Trinity, Art-Deco. Measurements: 130 mm by 108 mm by 39 mm (5.10 x 4.25 x 1.5 Inches). Length: The triple silk cord can be adjusted from 17 inches to 26 inches. Cartier S History On the 19th of June, 1920, the House of Cartier in Paris created a collection of accessories so special they resembled jewels in their precious materials and expert craftsmanship.
