Crafted from sterling silver and bronze, this stunning inkwell boasts a commanding motif of a globe rising from the ocean. Superlative in size, this Tiffany & Co. piece is perfectly appointed to draft important correspondence. The base of the inkwell centerpiece bears a finely engraved commemorative plate celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Union Marine Insurance Co. Liverpool's United States branch in New York. Commemorative plate reads:“1863 Fiftieth Anniversary 1913 / The Union Marine Insurance Co. Limited Liverpool /Presented by F. Hermann & Co.
