An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage George VI English sterling silver photograph frame; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional vintage George VI sterling silver photograph frame has a plain rectangular form with an arched internal window. The surface of this vintage silver photo frame is embellished with impressive engine turned decoration. This silver frame is fitted with a fine and impressive oak wood back and hinged strut. This vintage frame is inset with a removable glass panel. Condition This vintage picture frame is an exceptional gauge of silver and exceptional quality. The silver frame and oak wood back are in exceptional presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are very clear. Dimensions Height 21.6cm/8.5". Width 16cm/6.3". Height of internal window 18.5cm/7.3". Width of internal window 14cm/5.5". Depth 1.8cm/0.7". Maker: Walker & Hall. Date: 1950. Origin: Sheffield, England.
