About the Item

Contemporary unglazed stoneware sculpture by Oguz, created in Turkey in 2026 as a one-of-a-kind sculptural vessel. Strata Object I is built around a quiet tension between digital precision and raw ceramic materiality. Its layered body was formed through a six-hour ceramic 3D-printing process, then high-fired to 1230°C in stoneware and left unglazed to preserve the tactile, mineral quality of the surface. The vertical silhouette and rhythmic striations give the work an architectural presence, while the warm clay body keeps it grounded and organic. Rather than functioning as a conventional vase, the piece is conceived as a standalone art object for a pedestal, console, shelf or collector’s interior. The sculpture measures 43 cm high and 20 cm in diameter. Newly made and in excellent condition, with subtle surface and tonal variations inherent to the 3D-printed stoneware process.
