About the Item

Using a simulated reality, whole worlds are created, encompassing worlds that defy both logic and expectation. It is within this arena that creations arise, almost as if on their own, and give us something otherworldy to contemplate at. In this context the role of the artist is more that of world builder, a discriminator of forms. Out of the thousand possible configurations of the world which is being simulated, one must be chosen. And out of the millions of possible forms which that world gave rise to the artist must choose, again and again, until after countless forms have arisen withered and died, the final form is arrived at, and a new piece is created. -- A turbulent moment frozen in time. Selective laser sintered nylon powder, fluid simulation created sculpture. Size can be customized if desired.
