Sculpture model in raw clay and cement, for a monumental sculpture project. Stamp of Michel Lucotte. Unique piece. Biography Michel Lucotte (Born August 2, 1931 in Dijon, lives in Burgundy) French painter, sculptor, writer, creator and poet. Professor at the National School of Fine Arts in Dijon (1958-1961) and at the Municipal School of Fine Arts in Beaune (1951-1991). Studies at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-arts de Dijon from 1946, learns pottery, at the same time creating around a hundred fired and glazed clay pieces in a private studio in the town. Visits to Vallauris, Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, La Borne. Learns metalworking in a locksmith’s workshop in Dijon. Teacher at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-arts de Dijon from 1958 to 1961. Teacher at the Ecole Municipale des Beaux-arts de Beaune from 1951 to 1991; taught ceramics for fifteen years, then painting and sculpture until his retirement. Member of the European Cultural Society of Venice.
