About the Item

Morform Ceramic Sculpture in Terracotta Stoneware Clay by Catalin Filip. Dimensions: W 35 x D 35 x H 40 cm. Materials: Terracotta Stoneware Clay, textured natural ceramic finish. Morform by Catalin Filip is a sculptural ceramic vessel composed of two interlocking shapes that mound together, exploring balance and composition. The merging contours create a sense of movement held in grounded tension. Handcrafted from terracotta stoneware, it combines organic form with sculptural presence. About Cătălin Filip (b. 1989) is a Romanian-born, UK-based artist and designer working primarily with ceramics. A self-taught ceramicist, he develops unique techniques through intuitive experimentation and patient trial and error. Fascinated by the movement and distortions found in nature, he lets process guide form, allowing each piece to reveal how it was made. With a background in architecture, he merges artistic expression with functional design. Over the past year, he has exhibited internationally, including recent presentations in the Netherlands, Romania, Greece, and Mexico, and at the British Ceramics Biennale in the UK, where he received the Fresh Talent Prize.
