About the Item

“The Foursquare Staircase” introduces a new typology of vertical communication in architecture. The model is part of an innovative approach to the staircase, where four spirals allow you to explore individual ways of moving within the structure of a building. TRON MEYER (b. 1983) is a Norwegian artist, architect, designer, and curator who works in a wide range of materials and scales. Meyer’s work reflects his curiosity for the potential in production, where a meditation on economy, materiality, design, craftsmanship, function, and aesthetics together form the basis of the object as a physical consequence. Meyer holds an MA from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in visual arts and an MA in architecture from The Oslo School for Architecture and Design. He has exhibited throughout Norway and internationally.
