About the Item

We found it in a fishing village in northern Wisconsin—where Lake Superior waters stretch to the horizon. It may be freshwater, but it's anything but Midwestern Nice. This eagle head figurehead was cast from an original carving, preserving every confident sweep of feather and the sharp authority of its hooked beak. Though it never rode the bow of a ship itself, the lineage is there in the details. Formed in composition material and painted a crisp, weathered white, it carries the salt-and-wind romance of maritime life without the fragility of true age. Mounted on a wall, it commands the room the way a proper figurehead should—chin lifted, gaze fixed on some invisible horizon.
