Late 19th century pair of bronze Burmese Chinthe temple guardian lions. Also called Foo Dog or Foo lions. Likely to hold incense or similar. Fine engraved decoration; good patination & wear commensurate with age. 4 7/8" h., 3.5" d., 2.25" w. We are a family business that has been a major source for the selective buyer for over 90 years.
