Signed to the base with workshop stamp and retains original label. Origin: Denmark, Bornholm. Designer: Marianne Starck for Michael Andersen & Søn. Material: Stoneware. Dimensions: H. 16 cm, L. 16 cm. Period: 1960/70s. Condition: Excellent condition with light signs of wear. Marianne Starck (1938–2007) was artistic director at Michael Andersen & Søn from 1955 to 1993 and a key figure in Bornholm’s modern ceramic movement. Her works combine Scandinavian clarity with bold decoration and experimental glazes, making them highly sought after by collectors today.
