Two Moomin Figures, Martinex, Finland, c. 1980s. Set of two standing Moomin figures in soft plastic with a flocked velvet surface. One in light orange and one in light green, both with characteristic eyes and a tail at the back. Produced by Martinex, known for their official Moomin products. Origin: Martinex, Finland Designer: Tove Jansson (creator of the characters) Material: Plastic with flocked velvet surface Dimensions: H. 9 × W. 6 cm and H. 7.5 × W. 7 cm Mark: Unsigned Period: c. 1980s Condition: Good condition with minor signs of wear A nostalgic collector’s item for both Moomin enthusiasts and design lovers. Martinex is a Finnish family-owned company, founded in 1986, and the official producer of Moomin merchandise. They are known for carrying on Tove Jansson’s universe through toys, games, and collectibles of high quality.
