Art Deco Bronze Hunting Scene on Onyx Panel, France, circa 1930 A rare and striking Art Deco bronze relief sculpture from France, circa 1930. This highly decorative piece depicts a dynamic hunting scene in finely cast patinated bronze, mounted on a richly veined cream onyx panel with a matching base. Three hunters are shown carrying an antelope through a lush, stylized jungle landscape filled with sculpted foliage and palm trees—an expressive example of French Art Deco craftsmanship and naturalist design. The contrast between the dark bronze figures and the smooth, light onyx background highlights the movement and texture of the composition beautifully. The sculpture is freestanding but could also be wall-mounted if desired.
