Made by Edme Samson Paris Depicting a Mythological scene of Diana the Huntress Titled: Diana au bain The original is in biscuit porcelain made in 1790 by Louis - Simon Boizot for National Manufacture the Sèvres France This original can be found in Paris Versailles France The statue has lively colours and the expressions on the faces are almost real and the fingers very detailed To be dated 19th century Marked Edme Samson Paris Origin: France Edmé Samson (Paris 1810 - Paris1891), founder of the porcelain firm Samson, Edmé et Cie (commonly known as Samson), was a famous copyist of porcelain and pottery.[ The firm produced high-quality copies or imitations of earlier styles of porcelain, mainly 18th-century European and Chinese and Japanese porcelain, but also earlier styles such as Italian maiolica. Due to the high - quality nowadays the works are collectors items and sought after.
