A beautiful and highly expressive ceramic sculpture by Danish artist Helge Christoffersen (1925-1965), created in the 1940s. Executed as a unique work, the piece depicts a young woman in profile, dressed in a vibrant green checkerboard blouse and matching leaf-shaped cap, delicately holding a branch of stylized foliage. The composition combines figurative and decorative elements in a distinctly Scandinavian manner, reflecting the organic sensibility and craftsmanship associated with Danish ceramics of the period.
