It is a Neoclassical and academic depiction inspired by great French and Italian models of the 18th and 19th centuries (in the style of Christophe-Gabriel Allegrain or Étienne-Maurice Falconet). Description A delicate carved white marble statuette depicting the nude goddess Venus, with her head slightly tilted and her hair styled in a braided bun. She is shown modestly holding a drape against her right thigh with her right hand, while leaning her left hand on a draped column drum. The figure rests on a circular rocky base.
