About the Item

Add a touch of historic character to a study or cabinet with this striking French drinking horn, crafted circa 1850. Formed from a natural cow horn, the curved body is mounted with engraved brass fittings at both ends, featuring geometric and stylized motifs that enhance its rustic yet decorative appeal. The wider end is capped with a domed brass mount, while the tapered tip is similarly fitted, creating a balanced silhouette. A pair of metal rings supports the original braided cord with tassels, allowing the piece to be displayed or worn in traditional fashion.
