About the Item

Blue Lace Agate Butterfly Geode Wings with AAA Banded Agate and Amethyst Druzy ▫️ Description We were genuinely surprised the moment this geode opened. What started as a closed formation revealed a stunning set of Blue Lace Agate “butterfly wings,” with an almost unheard-of crystal pattern that formed after the agate, and a gorgeous amethyst center—creating a naturally mirrored specimen, like delicate angel wings. The first thing that stands out is the rare way the agate banding and quartz formation come together. The agate layers are sharply defined, with deep blue lace bands that gradually transition into crisp white laces—an unmistakable record of the stone’s growth over millions of years. As the agate finished forming, clear quartz grew next, creating a natural frame for the sparkly amethyst druzy at the center. The result is layered contrast and an aesthetic, natural “painting.” This piece is all-natural and untreated. It was only cut and polished to reveal the wings and highlight the banding—no dye, no coatings, no enhancement. Agates like this are extremely rare because you need several unlikely things to happen in one geode: clean, high-contrast lace banding, a naturally mirrored “wings” opening, and a crystal-filled center that stays intact through formation and cutting. Most geodes either don’t develop this level of symmetry, or the banding isn’t this crisp and continuous. Finding a piece that combines all of these traits in a single, display-ready set is the kind of “once in many thousands” specimen collectors look for. Please check the photos for close-ups, and feel free to message us with any questions or special requests. ▫️ Blue & White Lace Agate Butterfly / Angel Wings Geode with Amethyst Druzy (Cut & Polished, Untreated) ▫️ Color: Blue, White, and Violet ▫️ Size: -- 7000g - 15.4 lb -- Height: 36 cm. - 14.2 In. -- Width: 35 cm. - 13.8 In. -- Depth: 12 cm. - 4.7 In. ▫️ Agate Origin: Ametista do Sul - Brazil ▫️ Base: Self Standing ▫️ Ethically Sourced

Natural Blue Lace Agate Geode Butterfly Wings with Amethyst and Landscaped Back

Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR

A fascinating agate geode that was cut open to show the world its internal beauty, this Agate Geode Wings combines world-class blue lace agate, purple amethyst druzy, and careful craftsmanship to become this spectacular natural artwork. Exceptional from every angle, for sure this Geode Wings will be an amazing addition collection or a conversation starter in your decor space. The Agate layer pattern that can be seen reveals the entire process of growth. For millions upon millions of years, it evolved, and in the middle of it, the Purple Amethyst Druzy showcased Nature's remarkable craftsmanship. The agate layers grow one after the other, and millions of years separate the first layer from the last one. We carefully polished this specimen to highlight its natural features. On its front, the blue and white agate lines contrast beautifully with the Purple Amethyst. Meanwhile, on the back, a landscape reminiscent of islands in the middle of the sea has taken shape. It is very important to highlight the fact that these Agate Butterfly Geodes...
