About the Item

Rare Amethyst Cathedral Geode on Banded Agate ▫️ Description With a perfect cathedral shape, this geode features a beautiful banded agate frame with layers of green agate and clear quartz, opening into a field of deep purple amethyst points. It’s a piece made to be displayed in any space—whether in a living room, a yoga studio, or as the centerpiece of your crystal collection. This amethyst features a mineral mix that is truly special. The agate banding already makes it stand out, but the extra growths take it to another level: you can see golden goethite (cacoxenite-style needles) that formed before the amethyst, creating a sparkling “landscape” across the piece. It’s the kind of specimen where you keep noticing new details every time you look at it. Size-wise, it’s a perfect display piece—medium to small, a little over 19 inches tall and around 43 lb. The matrix shows the natural sequence of the formation: a thin basalt layer, followed by the agate, and then the amethyst growth. Because of the structure, it has been reinforced for durability and safe display. Ethically sourced directly from my hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil. Please check the photos for a closer look, and feel free to message me if you have any questions or special requests. 🤍 ▫️ Rare Amethyst Cathedral Geode on Banded Agate filled with Golden Goethite (AKA Cacoxenite) ▫️ Color: Deep Violet ▫️ Size: -- 19.6 Kg - 43.2 lb -- Height: 48 cm. - 18.9 In. -- Width: 25 cm. - 9.8 In. -- Depth: 20 cm. - 7.9 In. ▫️ Amethyst Origin: Ametista do Sul - Brazil ▫️ Base: Self Standing ▫️ Ethically Sourced
