About the Item

Rare Lace Agate Geode, The Perfect Untreated Agate with the Rarest Colors • Description A gorgeous medium-sized Banded Agate Geode, this beauty presents us with a one-of-a-kind lace agate formation with complex yet simple lines that represent the elegant shape of a natural body, similar to a dancer, that is surrounded by laces. This geode features a unique color pattern and the agate itself is intact, without conchoidal fractures, and free from fissures. Quality-wise, this geode is considered 'Super Extra' due to its formation and the spectacular Agate Lines (Bands or Laces) that can be perfectly seen on this specimen. The pattern of the agate layers reveals the entire growth process, evolving over millions and millions of years, with the gorgeous purple Amethyst Druzy at its heart. These layers are commonly referred to as Bands or Laces. The colors are remarkable in their own right, starting with a green-brown tone that mixes with gray and blue until it reaches the center. Here, a transformation occurred, and the lighter tones turned the agate into a cream, yellow, and white specimen. It is very important to emphasize that these Agate Geodes with Druzy formation are in their purest form and have undergone no treatment. They were cut and polished to enhance their natural beauty. This Blue Lace Agate Geode is exceptional from every angle and will surely be an amazing addition to your Crystal Collection. Please check the pictures to see more of it and feel free to message us if you have any questions or specific requests. You may be wondering how the Blue Lace Layers were formed. It's quite fantastic: agates typically form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous basalt (volcanic) rock. Over time, these are filled with layers of water with high concentrations of silica. The water slowly evaporates, forming a layer of jellied silica, and thus a layer is formed. It is an exceedingly slow process, and each layer contains different impurities, thereby forming bands of different colors. Mind-blowing, isn't it? ▫️ Lace Agate Geode (Cut, Polished, RAW, no enhancing treatment) ▫️ Color: Cream, Brown, Beige, White and more ▫️ Size: Size: -- 5.3 Kg - 11.7 lb -- 350 mm. - 13.8 in.
