An Edwardian Liquor flask bottle. This is a very handsome and handy liquor flask-bottle created in England during the Edwardian period, back in 1900. This beautiful large liquor flask has been crafted with parts made polished pewter and brown leather. It is fitted on top with a screwed hinged lid with a cork attached with a chain. British pewter was primarily manufactured in London, which was the main center for the trade, alongside significant production in Sheffield, Birmingham, and various regional centers including York, Wigan, and the West Country. The industry, heavily supported by tin from Cornwall, was regulated by the Worshipful Company of Pewterers in London. Country: London, England. Period: Edwardian, 1900-1910. Weight: 660 Grams, (0.66 Kg.). Measurements: 254 mm by 127 mm by 42 mm (10 x 5 x 1.65 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks for the city of London, the maker's mark and the country of provenance as follows; "MADE IN ENGLAND.". Monograms: No. Condition: The overall condition of this Edwardian liquor flask is very good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage.
