About the Item

A striking and rare complete set of 12 “Bird Bottles” designed by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala in the 1950s. These iconic hand-blown glass vessels are celebrated for their organic, rounded forms and delicate pinched spouts, resembling stylised birds. The set features a beautiful range of original colours including deep blue, amethyst, olive green, smoky grey, and soft pink tones. Each piece is unique, with subtle variations inherent to hand production. Several retain original Iittala “Made in Finland” labels.
