About the Item

Monumental Italian cast bronze planter from the early 20th century, designed in a refined Renaissance style. The piece features an impressive oval form with a wide rounded body, richly decorated relief work and a strong architectural presence. The lower section is ornamented with deep vertical fluting, giving the surface rhythm, volume and sculptural depth. The upper border is enriched with classical repeating motifs, while the sides are decorated with finely modeled lion head handles holding circular rings. The planter rests on expressive zoomorphic feet, further emphasizing its noble and historic character. The bronze surface shows a beautiful naturally aged patina, with green oxidized tones, brown nuances and darker areas that enhance the richness of the casting and the authenticity of the piece. Elegant and imposing, this planter is ideal as a monumental cachepot, indoor planter or decorative statement object for an entryway, living room, conservatory, gallery, terrace or refined architectural interior.
