An extraordinary and monumental 19th century French Sèvres Style porcelain centerpiece covered urn or vase, crafted in France during the early to mid-19th century. This impressive decorative object exemplifies the exceptional artistry and refined craftsmanship of Sèvres porcelain, combining richly hand-painted decoration with elaborate gilt gold embellishments. The exterior is exquisitely hand-painted with detailed still-life scenes of flowers, foliates, and birds in harmonious hues of pink, yellow, orange, blue, green, turquoise, and red. The urn’s body is set on a pristine white ground, while the top and base are finished in striking cobalt blue, creating a bold contrast that emphasizes the refined painting and gilded accents. The gilt decoration is lavishly applied, highlighting the floral and avian motifs and adding depth and luxury to the piece.
