Pair of Edwardian Neoclassical sterling silver covered urns. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1908. Ovoid bowl with high-looping leaf-mounted side handles and raised foot; cover domed with vasiform finial. Chased festoons with ribboned rondels (vacant). Leaf borders and leaf-and-flower rim. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 17162C (first produced in 1908), and director’s letter m. Heavy total weight: 124.5 troy ounces.
