A pair of 19th century French Neoclassical painted and gilt flatback urn ornaments — each half-round bowl with black rams’ heads at the sides, their gilt horns draped with gilt cloths, a band of hieroglyph-style figures across the front, and a gilt palm-leaf collar at the neck, on a plinth base. Flat backs, made to sit against a wall on a mantel or console.
