About the Item

Great Mid Century Modern Large Pottery Lava Glaze Floor Vase. Beautiful smooth chocolate brown glaze on body with a cream crackle glaze covering the top third and a thick brown lava glaze dripping over the creamy white glaze. There are, what looks like stamp marks on bottom unable to read. This wonderful floor vase was probably made by one of the potteries from Zanesville, Ohio. Its weight and clay utilized does not fit with the European Lava glaze production method. Measurements: 11 inches diameter (center) - 6 1/2 inches diameter (top) - 23 inches high. Condition: Very Good. Minor wear consistent with its age and use. Some variation of the solid color, looks like finger prints. Please look at all images.
