About the Item

Ash and copper vase by Vlad Droz. Dimensions: ?29 x H30 cm. Materials: Ash and Copper. One of a kind. Ash and Copper Vase by Russian Vlad Droz. This vase is greenturned, charred and sandblasted. Vlad Droz "An incredible variety of forms of living creatures: animals, flowers, mushrooms, herbs, and of course trees reigns on our planet. This is a surprisingly diverse world. Once I touched wood, I began to recognize its structure and properties, as the structure of an organic life form with many external beautiful manifestations in textures, colors, tactile sensations. I am happy that I can see it all, and even happier than the opportunity to share it with other people, revealing for everyone the beauty of nature" Vlad Droz, was born in the Russian city of Ivanovo on August 8, 1985. He studied at the Ivanovo University of Architecture and Civil Engineering as an architect. In 2006, he became interested in playing the national instrument of the natives of northern Australia - yidaki / didgeridoo - subsequently it affected his whole life. Almost immediately engaged in the manufacture of wood. He had experienced for years different techniques in order to master the Craft as he does nowadays. He is recognized as one of the most important wood sculptor of the Russian young generation artists.
