About the Item

Some objects don't ask permission to exist in a space. This vase is one of them. Organic in form and sculptural in presence, this piece defies the boundary between functional object and work of art. Its surface has been worked by hand with a precise rhythm: ovals and concave impressions that capture light differently at every hour of the day, transforming the piece without it ever moving. The silver-plated steel has developed over the years a warm, uneven patina — tones shifting between graphite, bronze, and aged silver — that no industrial process could replicate. It is the memory of time, materialized in metal. The form speaks to Brutalism in its finest sense: not as harshness, but as honesty. Nothing is hidden, nothing polished into indifference. Every tool mark is part of the piece's language. A sculpture that can also hold flowers. Or simply, exist.
