Bombshell Trench Art Vase or Cooler in Patinated Brass, Europe, early 20th Century. This is a large and very decorative trench art vase or cooler made from a heavy brass bombshell or shell casing. Made during the war or after, these kind of folk art pieces are always unique and show the creativity and artistry of the maker. In this case this large brass bombshell was adorned with neoclassical feet and handles - to create a highly decorative piece. Could be used as a decorative piece, but it is also very usable as a vase or wine cooler. Comes in a good and nicely patinated condition.
