A small faceted studio vase by Marcello Fantoni (1915–2011), the angular body worked into planes and finished in a lustrous bronze-and-turquoise metallic glaze that shifts with the light — a jewel-like object at just 13.5 cm, characteristic of the experimental surfaces his Florence studio became known for.
