About the Item

White bisque porcelain vase produced by Heinrich Porzellan in West Germany during the 1970s. Its slender form is covered with overlapping wave reliefs that create a continuous rhythm across the surface. Depending on the angle and light, the pattern can resemble ripples, scales, or a series of abstract arches. The unglazed matte finish gives the Heinrich porcelain vase a soft, tactile character and allows the relief to remain the main visual feature. Its combination of precise geometry and flowing movement reflects the influence of Op Art on postwar German porcelain design. At 27 centimeters high, the vase has a noticeable presence without requiring a large surface. It works particularly well on a sideboard, console, or deep shelf, either displayed empty or with a restrained arrangement of dried grasses. The white bisque porcelain stands out beautifully against walnut, dark lacquer, stone, or a saturated wall color.
