About the Item

Large Italian vase in green and clear blown glass, Italy, 1950s. A spectacular decorative vase in artistic glass with slender, organic lines. Made of thick blown glass, it features a magnificent gradient ranging from golden amber at the base to an intense emerald green at the top. Its sculptural silhouette evokes a flower in full bloom thanks to its wide-open neck and undulating, petal-like edges. The quality of the glasswork and the fluidity of the forms are reminiscent of the great Italian Murano glass productions of the mid-20th century. This very elegant piece beautifully captures the light and makes a superb decorative object, whether empty or adorned with large floral branches.
