Large Monochrome Black Glazed Studio Pottery Vase with Pierced Openings, Signed “AL” This large monochrome studio pottery vase exemplifies the restrained, sculptural direction of late 20th-century ceramic practice, where form, surface, and negative space are treated with equal importance. The vessel is conceived as a tall, cylindrical form with a softly rounded shoulder and recessed mouth, its proportions carefully balanced and intentionally minimal.
