About the Item

Large ceramic amphora with handles, made and painted entirely by hand, central Italy production, year 2009. The decoration on the vase is a reproduction of a painting by Francois Boucher made with great detail using light blue and light gray. Measures: Diameter: 34 cm (13,4 in.), Height 94 cm (37 in.) Colors: light blue, light gray. Visit our storefront to discover the whole deBlona collection. The beauty of a deBlona majolica is determined by the ancient process, unchanged over time and handmade, which we observe to the letter in the creation of our artworks: painting ceramics is a very complex, fascinating and insidious art, but it is precisely the human and imperfect sign that makes every piece so characteristic and totally unique. deBlona's essence is represented by the interpretation of the color and by an unrepeatable taste, with which we want to give new chromatic emotions.
